Are you an early bird with a sharp mind and a calm head under pressure? We are looking for a fast-thinking, proactive Helpdesk Coordinator to support our team of Mobile Cleaners and over 200 cleaning operatives across the South of England. Working from our Portsmouth HQ, you will start each day at 5am, making sure every cleaner is where they need to be, clocked in on time, and ready to go. If there’s a gap in the rota, someone off sick, or a last-minute client request, you will be the one who makes sure it’s sorted—quickly and calmly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the first point of contact for our mobile and site-based cleaning teams
  • Monitor time and attendance, ensuring all staff are clocked in correctly and on site
  • Organise emergency cover for sickness or no-shows, using your initiative to respond fast
  • Keep in constant communication with our mobile team, updating schedules and supporting any on-the-ground issues
  • Log and dispatch reactive cleaning jobs to the mobile team based on location and priority
  • Update the operations team on staffing, absences, and any issues from the shift
  • Keep accurate records and hand over updates at the end of each shift

Essential What You’ll Need:

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure
  • Good time management and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficient with basic tech systems – email, phone, workforce software (training provided)
  • A strong sense of responsibility and reliability, our mobile team depends on you

Desirable

  • Previous experience in a helpdesk, cleaning ops, or facilities role
  • Understanding of time and attendance systems or staff scheduling tools
  • Comfortable working in an early-morning, high-paced environment

What You Get

  • Part-time, fixed shift pattern that fits into a 4-on-4-off routine
  • Early starts mean your afternoons are free
