A skilled Mortgage Administrator to join our expanding Financial Services & Mortgage Business in Borehamwood. This role is to provide general and financial administrative support to the team and clients where required.
This role requires a minimum of 18 months previous experience working within a similar role. Therefore, good numeracy and literacy skills are required, and it is essential you understand the Mortgage Process. You will have a good understanding of financial processes, excellent PC skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook), strong administration and organisational skills, experience working with numbers, excellent attention to detail, be a quick learner, have a good telephone manner, and confidence to liaise with clients, able to work on your own initiative.
Main responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the efficient running of the office
- Using a range of software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases
- Managing online and paper filing systems
- Processing mortgage applications
- Maintaining client data on our office CRM system
- Conducting research and sourcing Mortgage products
- Answering calls and responding to client and lender queries
- Keeping clients and businesses up to date throughout the application process
- Function as the key point of contact for all potential and current clients.
About yourself:
- Experience: 2+ years (required) as a Mortgage Administrator, Mortgage Case Manager or Mortgage Paraplanner
- Excellent numeracy, literacy, communication skills, and attention to detail
- Be a quick learner, good telephone manner and confidence to liaise with clients
- A working knowledge of mortgage & protection products
- Open to learning and furthering your career within our mortgages & Financial Services team
