Citizens Advice Newcastle is seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Debt Team Leader with Technical Supervision to start as soon as possible, with an opportunity for a hybrid model of home working and office working as required.

The postholder will be required to have a debt work caseload and be able to carry out quality file reviews on casework undertaken by the Money Advice Team. You must have experience of giving advice to the public, managing complex debt cases, negotiating with third parties on behalf of clients and maintaining accurate and comprehensive case recording.

You will preferably be a DRO intermediary, and ideally have specific formal qualifications in advice work. You need to demonstrate a clear commitment to client care and that you are able to maintain targets and high quality standards.
