Purpose of the role

The Director of Producing is a senior leader within Citizens Theatre, supporting the Artistic Director in the realisation of the theatre’s artistic vision. This role will ensure that artistic ambitions are realised in ways that are operationally robust, financially sustainable, and delivered to the highest possible standard. The Director of Producing leads the artistic planning of the organisation and oversees production delivery through the Head of Production, ensuring that conditions are in place for artists and creatives to do their best work.
