At Citizens of Soil, we champion the smallholder farmers and their land. We source and share small-batch extra virgin olive oil from independent female-led farms across the Mediterranean. We're building a more transparent and equitable food system. To support our growing operations team, we're looking for an Operations & Supply Chain Assistant to help keep things running smoothly, from supply chain coordination to admin that keeps the engine ticking.
The Role
- Contract: Permanent
- Hours: Mon–Fri (flexible working hours)
- Salary: £30,000–£32,000 per annum
- Location: Hybrid, with at least 1 day per week in central London office
We're looking for an organised, detail-oriented Operations & Supply Chain Executive to support our operations team. This is a hands-on, admin-focused role, perfect for someone who loves keeping things in order, communicates clearly, and wants to grow within a purpose-driven food business.
What You'll Be Doing
- Order & Warehouse Admin: Help manage day-to-day order processing, liaise with our 3PL warehouse, and flag any fulfilment issues.
- Supplier & Freight Coordination: Support the team in keeping our supply chain on track.
- Data Entry & Reporting: Keep our systems accurate so the team is best placed to make the right decisions.
Who You Are
- Exceptionally organised with sharp attention to detail.
- A clear communicator, written and verbal.
- Comfortable in spreadsheets and picking up new tools quickly.
- A self-starter who flags problems early and will take opportunities to improve processes when they can.
- Some experience in ops, logistics, or supply chain is a bonus, but a great attitude and strong admin skills matter more.
