We are currently recruiting for a trainee Debt Caseworker to join our team. The main purpose of this role is to deliver multi‑channel debt advice and casework to clients within our community utilising innovative tools. Citizens Advice SORT utilises technology to help and improve a caseworker’s administrative burden, from case note automation to open banking, debt chat bot and document analysis tool. This role will give you the opportunity to directly feed into these developments and help change the way debt advice is delivered and recorded in the future.
Responsibilities
- Deliver multi‑channel debt advice and casework to clients referred from other teams within Citizens Advice or partner organisations.
- Support remote appointments from home or our Manchester office, and occasional face‑to‑face appointments in Stockport, Oldham, Rochdale or Trafford.
- Utilise case note automation (Caddy, CaseNote), open banking data, debt chat bot and document analysis tools to support clients.
Working Arrangement
Full‑time position. Hybrid working model with remote work and occasional in‑office appointments.
Salary
£25,542 to £28,953, dependent on experience.
