This role will play a pivotal role in expanding and strengthening the reach of Citizens Advice Wigan Borough (CAWB) within the community. The post holder will lead a dedicated team to deliver high-quality advice services, while supporting our community engagement strategy. This includes:

  • Recruiting and inducting outreach volunteers, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge they need to work independently.
  • Developing relationships with local partners.
  • Delivering capacity-building training to equip external organisations to identify and signpost or refer residents in need.
  • Undertaking quality reviews and monitoring performance against KPIs utilising a variety of performance monitoring tools.
  • Responding quickly and effectively to areas of concern and providing reports to the management team.
  • Some advice cover will also be required on occasion.

Requirements: A driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential to this post.
