We are looking for a proactive, organized and community-focused Outreach Coordinator and Adviser to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the effective delivery of outreach services across East Suffolk, helping us reach people who may not otherwise be able to access support.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating outreach sessions.
- Act as the main point of contact for outreach partners and venues.
- Schedule and organise adviser cover for all outreach sessions.
- Step in to deliver outreach sessions where adviser cover is unavailable.
- Ensure outreach services are delivered in line with organisational policies and standards.
Key Requirements
This role requires digital proficiency, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Essential
- Be willing to train as a general adviser β full training will be provided.
- Provide high-quality, confidential advice and information to clients.
- Support clients with a range of issues (e.g. benefits, housing, debt and employment).
- Maintain accurate case records.
- Strong organisational and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Clean driving licence.
Desirable
- Fully trained as a Generalist Adviser within Citizens Advice.
