Citizens Advice 1066 is recruiting a reliable Energy Adviser to join our team. This is a permanent role focused on delivering practical energy advice to residents in Hastings, Rother, and the surrounding areas. Your work will directly help people out of poverty and improve community welfare.

What You\’ll Be Doing: A Practical Role

The core of this job involves working directly with clients, both over the phone and in their homes, to offer tailored advice on energy use. We are looking for someone who is calm, organized, and focused on client needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Visiting client homes to set up and manage smart meters and dataloggers for collecting energy, temperature, and humidity data.
• Giving practical energy advice to clients, both in person and over the phone, using the collected data to inform your recommendations.
• Maintaining clear and accurate case records for all clients you work with.
• Always prioritising the client\’s overall wellbeing, including signposting or making referrals to other relevant support services when needed.
• Providing or installing small measures (energy saving items) that can help improve efficiency or change energy habits.
