To support our busy supervisor team, we’re looking for an experienced Case checker / Quality Advice Assessment (QAA Reviewer) who shares our passion for delivering excellent, accessible and impactful advice. If you have a keen eye for detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to nurture and develop others—this is a role where your skills will truly matter.
What You’ll Do:- Monitor case records and telephone calls to ensure they meet the Citizens Advice Quality Advice Assessment (QAA) Standard.
- Provide constructive, developmental feedback to volunteers and staff.
- Identify learning needs, support continuous improvement, and protect clients from detriment.
- Contribute to maintaining high-quality, consistent service delivery across the organisation.
- Work closely with the supervisor team and Advice Services Manager to uphold excellence in advice provision.
- Experience of case checking in line with Citizens Advice frameworks and the QAA Standard.
- The ability to give and receive feedback objectively, sensitively, and constructively.
- A strong understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in advice work and supervision.
- Clear, confident communication skills—written and verbal.
- The ability to maintain high personal standards and support others to do the same.
- An understanding of the issues affecting clients and the wider social context.
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with digital case management systems.
- A commitment to continuous professional development.
