Working with Macmillan Cancer Support to provide an effective advice service to people affected by cancer, their carers and families for welfare benefits. This includes establishing entitlement, helping with claims, assisting with reviews, appeals and related enquiries as required.

The service will be delivered in settings appropriate to the client group, including outreach in health and community settings and by telephone.

Ideally, applicants will have recent experience of advice work, casework or related activities. We are also willing to consider candidates with transferable skills who meet the person specification; training will be provided.
