Citizens Advice Lancashire West are seeking an experienced IT professional to work as a job share partner to cover IT support from Wednesday to Friday (18.5 hours). This role will work mainly out of the Leyland office with occasional work at Chorley if required. We are seeking a flexible person who is prepared to work across multiple sites to support an established charity meet the IT needs of all its staff and volunteers. We have an office at Skelmersdale and another at Fleetwood requiring occasional travel. The work is varied: it can be practical in setting up a new member of staff, problem solving or developmental. Most staff use G-Suite. This is a part time permanent role. The salary is Β£12,155.70 per annum. Typical duties would include:

Responsibilities

  • Data cleansing and reloading computers with Google and Windows systems
  • Using Google Admin to manage user accounts, device settings and organisational units
  • Preparing mobile devices for use by volunteers and staff
  • Installing and managing computers and printers on the network
  • Helping volunteers and staff with day to day IT issues such as password resets and finding shared files
  • Keeping inventory tidy, registering assets accurately and keeping up to date
  • Delivering one to one and group training regarding software, such as Google Docs and Office 365
  • Writing instructions about how to perform basic IT tasks to help volunteers and staff
  • Referring more complex issues/non routine requests to other technical support staff, national Citizens Advice IT Service Desk
