Citizens Advice New Forest is seeking a compassionate Foodbank Support Worker to provide advice and practical support to foodbank users across the Waterside. The role focuses on helping people experiencing financial hardship, including debt and benefits issues, and supporting access to wider Citizens Advice services.
Responsibilities include:
- Work mainly through outreach sessions at the foodbank in Blackfield, with some office and home-based working.
- Deliver support via face-to-face appointments, telephone and email.
This role suits someone who is empathetic, a strong communicator and motivated to support vulnerable people. An advice background is desirable, but applicants with transferable skills and a willingness to train are encouraged to apply.
