About The Role
At Citizens Advice Gateshead, every conversation matters. We’re looking for a friendly, confident and organised Receptionist to be the first face and voice people meet when they come to us for help. Based in the Davidson Building, you’ll play a key role in creating a calm, professional and welcoming environment for clients accessing our services. From greeting visitors and handling enquiries to supporting the advice team and keeping things running smoothly, this is a role where your people skills and attention to detail will make a real difference every day. This role will support our weekend opening, so we’re looking for someone who is mainly available to work weekends.
What you’ll bring:
- A warm, professional and approachable manner.
- Experience in Reception, Customer Service or another front-facing role.
- Strong communication and admin skills.
- Confidence handling sensitive information with care.
- The ability to stay calm, organised and helpful under pressure.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
