About the team

Our Brand and Marketing team is responsible for engaging and influencing a wide range of external audiences through impactful communications. We deliver integrated campaigns across social media, our website, blogs, events and paid media to build trust in the Citizens Advice brand and protect our reputation. As part of the External Affairs department, we work alongside our Media and Public Affairs teams to position Citizens Advice as a trusted expert, an inclusive advice provider, a credible advocate and a valued partner. Together, we help achieve organisational goals and drive positive social change.

About the role

Reporting to the Head of Brand and Marketing, you'll play a key role in delivering our organisational brand and marketing strategy. You'll help develop and execute integrated, national campaigns that raise awareness of our services, strengthen our reputation and support wider organisational objectives. As a steward of the Citizens Advice brand, you'll ensure our identity, messaging and positioning remain consistent across all channels while leading initiatives that increase visibility, build trust and encourage people to use and support our services. This is a varied role combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll use audience insight and performance data to shape campaigns, ensuring our communications are relevant, accessible and impactful. Working collaboratively across External Affairs and the wider organisation, you'll help influence perceptions of Citizens Advice and ensure our brand continues to resonate with the people who need us most.

Whilst we prefer a blended approach between a local office, if one is near you, and home we’re open to being flexible on location, occasionally a role may require you to be based in a certain location if that's the case it will be detailed in the advert or job description. This can be discussed in more detail during your interview.

The National Citizens Advice operates from offices in England and Wales, with 4 regional offices based in Cardiff, London, Birmingham and Leeds, therefore all successful applicants must be based within England or Wales.
