We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our expanding team in a brand-new role, created to support the continued success and growth of our digital inclusion project. This role focuses on the direct delivery of 1:1 and group-based digital skills training to individuals who are digitally excluded, particularly those aged 50+.

The Role Will Involve:

  • Delivering basic digital skills training through both 1:1 sessions and group workshops in various community locations.
  • Raising awareness and promoting the project across North East Derbyshire, Bolsover and Chesterfield to reach those most in need.
  • Working in partnership with local voluntary, community, and statutory organisations to improve digital access and support.
  • Raising awareness of energy services and supporting our Energy Advice Team with digital interventions for clients.

Due to the nature of the role, travel across north Derbyshire will be required. You will be self‑motivated and able to manage your own workload, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. Strong communication skills, including the ability to present to small groups, are essential. While you will be part of a supportive team, you must also be comfortable working independently. Experience in engaging with a range of stakeholders to promote services is highly desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact by helping individuals build confidence and independence in an increasingly digital world.

Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £25,877 – £28,664 (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Fixed Term until 31 March 2027 (extension subject to funding)

Start Date: As soon as possible

DBS: Enhanced
