Join Citizens Advice Richmond as a Crisis and Resilience Adviser

Citizens Advice Richmond is launching a new project, funded by Richmond Council in response to the cost‑of‑living crisis, and is seeking a Crisis and Resilience Adviser to support residents who receive help from the Crisis and Resilience Fund.

This rewarding role offers holistic support to households in hardship, responding to immediate need while working towards long‑term financial resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a single point of contact for clients, helping them maximise their income and reduce their expenditure across welfare benefits, debt, housing and related issues.
  • Complete benefit applications, apply for grants on clients’ behalf and refer them into the Manage Your Money team.
  • Conduct casework, community outreach and partner with council officers and the voluntary sector.
