We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our expanding team. This role leads on community engagement and outreach for our Energy Advice service, helping ensure residents across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover can access support to manage rising energy costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate outreach activity, attend community events and build relationships with local groups and partners to raise awareness of both Energy Advice and the wider services offered by Citizens Advice.
  • Provide light‑touch energy advice and support, helping individuals access appropriate services and information.
  • Travel across North East Derbyshire and Bolsover, including occasional evening or weekend events.
  • Act as a visible and proactive representative of the organisation.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Confidence working with people.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a supportive team environment.

Employment Details

  • Hours: 37 hours per week
  • Salary: £25,877 – £28,644 (depending on experience)
  • Contract Type: Fixed Term until 30 June 2027 (extension subject to funding)
  • Start Date: As soon as possible
  • DBS: Basic
  • Closing Date: 23:59 Sunday 24 May 2026
  • Interviews: Week commencing 1 June 2026
