The cost‑of‑living continues to directly impact individuals and families, with more people than ever in negative budgets, debt and housing crises.

This role has two key elements. Firstly, it is an exciting opportunity to support and develop our team internally, ensuring that we strive for, and deliver, high‑quality advice and that our culture of continuous improvement is embedded. Secondly, this role also involves building the capacity of local partner organisations. By providing them with training and resources, you will help them identify and assist those most in need of advice, leveraging the fact that people are most likely to seek help from people they already know and trust within their own communities.

Key Elements And Tasks Within This Role Will Include:

  • Lead onboarding new starters into the organisation and develop training plans alongside line managers.
  • Support line managers and teams with identified areas of development required.
  • Use key insights (advice trends, client feedback etc.) to create and deliver focused training across a range of delivery methods to ensure accessibility.
  • Support the organisation to comply with accreditation requirements (AQS, SQM, QAA and others), ensuring all CPD requirements are met and mandatory training is completed.
  • Work with local infrastructure organisations to create and deliver focused training for local VCSE organisations.
  • Support with new project mobilisation.

You will be part of the Delivery Leadership Team, a well‑established team of managers responsible for their areas of advice and support delivery.

About You:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse range of colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to adapt, prioritise deadlines and competing tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for supporting others to develop.
  • Experience in training and developing staff and/or volunteers OR experience as an adviser.
