The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 Β£ per year.

This is a senior role with a well-respected local charity. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring robust financial control, together with high-quality management and statutory account reporting. To this end, the Finance Manager will work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Treasurer to:

  • Maintain accurate and timely records on the QuickBooks accounting system in order that bills are paid and debts are collected.
  • Produce management accounts including forecasts of projected income and expenditure and projected surplus or deficit on each project for each Trustee Board meeting and Planning and Finance Committee meetings.
  • Provide such accurate financial information and advice as may be requested by the CEO or Treasurer.
  • Prepare the annual statutory accounts and such information files as may be necessary for external audit purposes.

We would expect candidates to be fully qualified accountants, but part qualified candidates with relevant experience will be considered.
