Founding Registered Manager (Personal Care Service)

Citizens Advice Mid Mercia is seeking a Founding Registered Manager to establish and lead a new community-based Personal Care service, helping adults live safely, independently and with dignity in their own homes and communities.
This is an opportunity to build a service from the ground up shaping its team, systems, partnerships and culture. You will lead registration readiness, recruit and develop a compassionate workforce, and put person-centred care, safeguarding and quality at the heart of delivery. Alongside this, you will identify opportunities for sustainable growth, balancing ambition with safe staffing and excellent care.
The essentials
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
CQC status: The appointed candidate will be expected to apply to register with CQC as Registered Manager where required, subject to satisfactory checks and CQC approval.
Location: hybrid, office based in Derby/Swadlincote with travel and home working
Contract: fixed term until 31 March 2028
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 per annum dependent on experience
