About the role

As Senior Finance Officer, you’ll take the lead on our day-to-day finance operations and provide the financial insight our senior leadership team relies on. You’ll produce monthly management accounts, oversee grant and fund accounting, manage payroll, and play a key role in budget monitoring and annual audit preparation.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

What we’re looking for

  • Have solid experience producing full management accounts independently
  • Are confident with month-end processes and financial controls
  • Can communicate financial information clearly to non-financial colleagues and senior stakeholders
  • Are organized, accurate, and able to manage your own workload to deadlines
  • Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a small team, while taking ownership of your area
  • Have experience of, or an interest in, charity finance or grant-funded environments (desirable)

  • 33 days holiday per annum (pro rata), plus the option to purchase additional leave
  • 5% matched pension supplement
  • Hybrid working from our Mold office
  • A friendly, supportive and inclusive team environment
