Job Title: Generalist Adviser
Salary: £26,798 – £29,525 per annum pro rata (FTE)
Hours: 28/37 hours per week (Recruiting for multiple positions)
Contract: Permanent
Responsible to: Team Leader/ Project Manager
Employed by: Coventry Citizens Advice (CCA)
Based at: Coventry – outreach locations and remote working
Work Pattern: Citywide drop-ins and scheduled appointments
Travel: A full driving license is required
Closing Date: N/A – We will review applications on an ongoing basis
Interview Date: We will assess applications as they are received and arrange interviews accordingly.
Purpose of the Role
The Generalist Adviser will provide accessible, confidential and person-centred information and advice to people seeking support across a range of issues. Advice will be delivered through drop-in sessions at community outreach locations across Coventry, scheduled appointments, telephone and remote channels.
You will help people understand their options, make informed decisions and take practical next steps. Working with energy, empathy and initiative, you will manage your own caseload, support volunteers to deliver a high-quality service and contribute positively to an inclusive, collaborative and enthusiastic team culture.
