Citizens Advice Wokingham has offered free, confidential, impartial and independent advice and information to anyone living or working in the Wokingham borough since 1977. We provide free, high-quality advice and information on various issues, including welfare benefits, debt, housing, employment law, and energy from our offices in central Wokingham and Woodley.
We continue to support the most vulnerable in our community by empowering individuals to take action with the advice Citizens Advice provides, as well as building stronger networks and creating opportunities for collaboration with local partners and businesses to support our community to thrive.
We are currently in a period of transformational change where we are actively engaged with our communities to ensure we are delivering locally and campaigning nationally for proactive responses to evolving needs.
Energy Advisor
Fixed term until 31st December 2027.
Essential: NEA Level 3 certificate in Energy Awareness or the commitment to complete within induction period (first 2 months).
We are seeking someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who is passionate about giving an effective service to those most in need and who is not afraid to drive change and improvement. You will need to demonstrate that you are a strong team player, with an eye for detail, and have effective communication, IT and numeracy skills. Join us on the frontline of the cost-of-living crisis and play a vital role making a difference in people's lives.
