About the role
We are growing our debt team of 30 staff to 46, so this is a great opportunity to join us as a Trainee Debt Caseworker. Both trained advisers and new comers to the debt service are welcome to apply. Full training can be provided.
You will:
- Have the ability to commit to and work within the aims, principles and policies of the Citizens Advice service.
- Be able to work with clients, who may be stressed or vulnerable, with empathy and patience, displaying excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You should be able to work confidently and independently.
- Be willing to work using various platforms which could include phone, webchat, video call.
- Excellent PC literacy skills will enable you to work with a variety of computer applications/systems. You should be able to work on your own initiative and be willing to commit to continuous development and an extensive training programme. Good English and Maths qualifications are a prerequisite in applying for this post.
- You should be able to demonstrate how you manage your own wellbeing/resilience at an interview.
- Be happy to work alongside other colleagues in a collaborative way within a call centre environment.
