About the role: Citizens Advice Rural Cambs is a local charity serving at the heart of its community, covering Fenland and Huntingdonshire, entirely funded by grants and donations, and through specific projects in East Cambridgeshire. We are a member of national Citizens Advice. By providing free independent, confidential and impartial advice, our aim is to deliver the advice people need for the problems they face and to improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives.

We are looking for a Trainer to support staff and volunteer learning at Citizens Advice Rural Cambs. You will help deliver and improve training, identify development needs, and support the recruitment, onboarding, and retention of staff and volunteers. Working with the Training Lead, you will contribute to a high-quality, inclusive learning environment that supports both people and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver training using blended learning methods
  • Assist with volunteer recruitment, onboarding, and development
  • Help maintain and improve training programmes and materials
  • Monitor training engagement and identify improvements
  • Maintain accurate records and support training logistics
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation

About You:

  • Experience delivering or supporting training
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Experience working with or supporting volunteers
  • Understanding of adult learning and development
  • Confident using IT systems and managing data
  • Committed to equity, diversity, and inclusion
