About the role:

We are looking for an experienced welfare rights adviser to join our Help to Claim team, to advise clients on their entitlement to Universal Credit and support them from making a claim through to their first payment. You will guide people through the claims process, offering tailored support up to their first payment and ensuring that they are able to manage the claim when it is in payment. You will carry out benefit checks and identify appropriate referrals for advice needs outside the scope of the project.

You will play a key role in ensuring clients receive good quality advice and strong communication skills are essential for helping clients via telephone and digital channels, as well as the ability to contribute to team rotas, targets and KPIs.
