At Citizens Advice Gateshead, every conversation matters. We’re looking for a friendly, confident and organised Receptionist to be the first face and voice people meet when they come to us for help. Based in the Davidson Building, you’ll play a key role in creating a calm, professional and welcoming environment for clients accessing our services. From greeting visitors and handling enquiries to supporting the advice team and keeping things running smoothly, this is a role where your people skills and attention to detail will make a real difference every day. This role will support our weekend opening, so we’re looking for someone who is mainly available to work weekends.

What you’ll bring:

  • A warm, professional and approachable manner
  • Experience in reception, customer service or another front-facing role
  • Strong communication and admin skills
  • Confidence handling sensitive information with care
  • The ability to stay calm, organised and helpful under pressure
