We’re looking for a brilliant Internal Communication Business Partner who will help colleagues feel connected to Citizen’s purpose, vision and values, and inspired about where we’re heading.
Working alongside a skilled team of internal communications professionals, you’ll lead our channel strategy to deliver positive change and enhance the colleague experience. Highly organised and proactive, you’ll also lead on colleague events that resonate with people at all levels of the organisation. You’ll bring strong internal communications experience and excellent stakeholder relationship skills, using these to coach leaders and build greater connectivity across Citizen. You’ll be confident working closely with Executive leadership teams and will take the lead on how we communicate with line managers, equipping and supporting them to engage their teams effectively.

- Strategic Advisor: You’ll develop and deliver a consistent narrative that aligns with Citizen’s overall strategy, purpose, values, and behaviours.
- Channel Maestro: You’ll lead our internal communication channels, using both research methods (think surveys and data) to make sure they meet the needs of our awesome colleagues.
- Trusted Coach: You’ll help leadership teams deliver impactful employee communication, building trust by being open and honest.
- Relationship Builder: You’ll build outstanding relationships with our leaders, becoming their go-to advisor for internal comms.
- Values Ambassador: You’ll work proactively with colleagues across Citizen, guiding communication activities that reflect who we are.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Exceptional communication skills with an ability to translate complex business materials into compelling content for a range of internal communications channels.
- Experience of developing and delivering communication strategies.
- Experience of working on change programmes.
- Experience of managing and leading multi‑channel communications.
- Excellent writing skills, storytelling, and people‑centred communications.
- Extensive knowledge and experience of the full range of comms channel mix.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IOIC, CIM, or CIPR qualifications.
