Role: Neighbourhood Officer

Salary: £37,595

Position: Permanent Full time Position, 37 hours per week

Location: Hereford & Worcester / Hybrid working

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee tenancy management and estate issues.
  • Deal with anti‑social behaviour, from minor reports to serious cases, and actively participate in multi‑agency work to resolve issues.
  • Handle sensitive safeguarding matters.
  • Carry out regular block and estate inspections.
  • Participate in the management of new build properties for all tenancy management issues.
  • Conduct tenancy reviews for all properties within the allocated patch.
  • Review service charges and depreciation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Ability to carry out interviews to discuss sensitive customer issues.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • Ability to develop successful professional relationships with partners to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Willingness and ability to work flexibly and attend meetings and other events outside normal business hours.
  • Adapt positively to change, be resilient to challenges, obstacles and handle conflict.
  • Highly self‑motivated, able to act with integrity and show drive and enthusiasm.
  • Current driving licence and access to a car.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience working with a Social Housing Provider or similar customer‑facing role.
  • Ability to be innovative and look for ways to improve customer experience.
