Position: Electrician

Salary: £40,926 – £43,072 (Dependant on qualifications)

Location: Birmingham & Coventry

Hours: 37 hours per week (10 - 6 pm Mon - Thurs, 10:30 - 6pm Fri)

Responsibilities

  • Join Citizen Housing Group as a Maintenance Electrician, delivering maintenance, repairs, and electrical installation work across residential, public, and commercial properties.
  • Perform primary trade tasks and associated multi-skilled activities to support maintenance operations.
  • Works include day to day electrical repairs, replace, install electric showers, fault finding, consumer unit upgrades.
  • Electrical testing – EIC, EICR, Minor Works Certification.
  • Be suitably qualified, on an on-going basis, to carry out all works, meeting all regulatory and H&S requirements.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems and Equipment (buildings, structures and the environment), includes integrated AM2 assessment of competence.
  • NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Installing Electrotechnical Systems & Equipment (or the equivalent).
  • City & Guilds 2382-18 (18th Edition) and any amendments.
  • City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 or equivalent.
  • City & Guilds 2391-52 – Level 3 Award in Inspection & Testing.
  • City & Guilds 2919-01 – EV Charging (Desirable).
  • ECS Gold Card Holder or equivalent experience or grading.
  • Experience of working with 3-phase installations (Desirable).
  • A full UK driving license and ability to drive company vehicles (manual).
