As a Recruitment Onboarding Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in helping our recruitment process run smoothly. From supporting hiring managers and guiding candidates through their journey, to ensuring pre‑employment checks are completed efficiently, you’ll be right at the heart of creating a positive onboarding experience. You’ll build strong relationships with both candidates and colleagues, providing proactive support and helpful guidance along the way. No two days will look the same – one moment you might be coordinating interviews, the next you’ll be helping solve a recruitment challenge or improving how we do things as a team. Position: Recruitment Onboarding Coordinator – Location: 4040 Lakeside, Birmingham Business Park, Birmingham, B37 7YN (hybrid, 2 days in the office).

Key Responsibilities- Ensure all vacancies have the correct approvals and all required updated information before making them live on the recruitment system.
- Arrange interviews and selection activities and provide interview support.
- Manage all pre‑employment checks for successful candidates, including DBS checks, driver checks, legal right to work, and references for both direct hires and agency workers.
- Support candidates through the onboarding process of pre‑employment checks.
- Liaise with candidates and agencies to provide updates and gather information required for background checks.
- Maintain systems and records keeping information fully up‑to‑date.
- Undertake transactional matters such as Declaration of Interest.
- Respond to emails from the various inboxes within the recruitment team.
- Proven experience in a Recruitment Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong communication skills and confidence engaging with stakeholders.
- Experience using an ATS or in‑house recruitment system.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- An analytical mindset, with the ability to use data to inform decisions.
- A driving licence is beneficial for travel to offices and recruitment events.
