As a Recruitment Onboarding Coordinator, you'll play a key role in helping our recruitment process run smoothly. From supporting hiring managers and guiding candidates through their journey, to helping ensure pre-employment checks are completed efficiently, you'll be right at the heart of creating a positive onboarding experience. You'll build strong relationships with both candidates and colleagues, providing proactive support and helpful guidance along the way. No two days will look the same – one moment you might be coordinating interviews, the next you'll be helping solve a recruitment challenge or improving how we do things as a team. We're always looking for ways to make our recruitment service better and faster, so your ideas and initiative will be welcomed. You'll also need to be comfortable juggling priorities and adapting quickly when deadlines change – all while keeping a friendly, professional approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all vacancies have the correct approvals and all required updated information before making them live on the recruitment system.
- Arrange interviews and selection activities and provide interview support where required.
- Manage all pre-employment checks for successful candidates including DBS checks, driver checks, legal right to work and references for both direct hires and agency workers.
- Support candidates through the onboarding process of pre-employment checks.
- Liaising with candidates and agencies to provide updates/gather information required for background checks.
- Maintain systems and records keeping information fully up to date.
- Undertake transactional matters such as Declaration of Interest.
- Respond to emails from the various inboxes within the recruitment team.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
