The core of this is expanding their data engineering capabilities to support across the entire business from front office trading & forecasting through to customer facing products and internal ops. Given the change in landscape and how many businesses are becoming agentic, they are looking to hire data engineers who simply have the core foundations (Python, SQL etc) rather than the usual wishlist!
