We're partnering with a leading global commodities trading firm to hire an Associate Front Office Software Engineer.
This is an opportunity to work directly with traders and analysts, building technology that supports real-time trading, market analytics and risk management.
You’ll develop high-performance Python services, cloud-native applications and internal tools that have a direct commercial impact.
Working in a collaborative front-office environment, you’ll help deliver solutions across analytics, market data, workflow automation and systematic trading.
- What you’ll be doing
- Build and maintain Python services and APIs used by the Front Office.
- Develop cloud-native applications and analytics tools.
- Partner closely with traders and analysts to solve complex business problems.
- Design scalable, high-performance software for real‑time trading environments.
- Contribute to the development of modern engineering practices and shared libraries.
- What we’re looking for
- 0–3 years’ commercial software engineering experience.
- Excellent computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to React, Type Script or Angular is beneficial.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of Linux, CI/CD or modern Dev Ops practices is advantageous.
- An interest in financial markets, trading or commodities is desirable but not essential.
