We are partnered with a global energy trading client who is seeking an LNG Middle Office Analyst to support their London office on an immediate basis. This is a hands-on role focused on LNG and gas markets, designed to provide short-term operational support with the potential to transition into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce daily risk reporting across LNG and gas portfolios
- Perform P&L marking and reconciliation
- Calculate and monitor VaR, exposure, and other risk metrics
- Support middle office controls and reporting processes
- Work closely with front office, risk, and commercial stakeholders
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of reporting during a period of high activity
Experience & Skills Required
- Proven experience in a Middle Office Analyst role within energy trading
- Solid understanding of P&L marking, VaR, exposure, and related risk metrics
- Ability to step into a role quickly with minimal ramp-up time
- Strong attention to detail and operational mindset
