Location: London

Cititec is working with one of Europe’s leading energy companies as they continue to build out their systematic trading capabilities in London.

We’re looking for a Quantitative Analyst with strong experience in Algo trading, research, modelling, and strategy development to help shape and scale their growing systematic trading desk.

What you’ll do:

• Design and implement models for systematic trading and risk management
• Work closely with traders and technologists to develop and test new strategies
• Contribute to the quantitative framework supporting their energy trading business

What we’re looking for:

• Strong background in mathematics, statistics, or computer science
• Expertise in Python (and experience working with large datasets)
• Experience in systematic or algorithmic trading, preferably in commodities, power, or gas
• A research-focused mindset – you’ll be building, not just maintaining
