.Net Developer – Commodities Trading | Contract | London

Hybrid (3 Days On-Site, 2 Remote)

6-month initial contract

Pay Rate: £700-850 /day inside IR35 DoE

Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading global commodities firm seeking an experienced .Net Developer to join their London-based team.

As a .Net Developer, you will design and build high-performance software solutions that support trading, risk, and valuation teams. This role offers the chance to work with modern technologies in a fast-paced Agile/DevOps environment, driving innovation in commodities trading.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable applications tailored to trading and risk management needs.
• Architect and implement secure, high-performance solutions that align with industry best practices.
• Enhance automation and efficiency through CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployment strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
• Work closely with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to uphold architectural standards.

Skills & Experience

• Strong development experience in .NET technologies (C#).
• Proficient in front-end development with Angular within cloud-based environments.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS (S3, ECS, Postgres) or Azure.
• Background in commodities trading, with experience delivering systems for risk management, valuation, or trading.
• Technical Problem-Solving with the ability to design practical solutions for complex business challenges.
