We're working with a leading energy trading organisation to hire a talented Frontend Developer to join a fast-paced, innovative development team. This is a 6-month contract role based in Central London, with hybrid working (3 days onsite).
You will be instrumental in developing a cutting-edge post-trade platform built on AWS, providing live intraday P&L reporting and digitised front-office workflows. The role involves hands-on full-stack development with a strong emphasis on front-end tech and cloud integration.
Key Requirements:- Hands-on experience with React/Typescript or Svelte
- Solid understanding of scalable, secure application development
- Strong Agile experience and ability to collaborate across teams
- Ideally from a commodities trading or financial services background
- Python programming
- AWS (S3, ECS, AppSync)
- GraphQL / REST APIs
- Kafka, Postgres, and familiarity with microservices architecture
