LNG Business Analyst (London Area)

12 Months Contract initial | Outside IR35 | (2-3 days onsite)

Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading energy firm that is looking for an LNG Business Analyst to join their team. This is a pivotal role, contributing to their greenfield initiatives.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering new LNG trading ecosystems while supporting front-to-back office operations. You will work closely with the technical team to design innovative solutions aligned with their programme’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring alignment on goals and priorities.
• Assess and model processes, data flows, and technology to understand current value and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain precise requirements documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain clear traceability of requirements from initial business needs through to testing, scope adjustments, and final solution implementation.

Key Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years experience as a Business Analyst in energy trading,
• Experience within LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) is essential.
• Familiarity with front, middle, and back office operations.
• Knowledge of trading systems such as Endur, EOS, Veson or IMOS.
• Proficiency in process improvement, data flow analysis, and technology integration.
