We are supporting a major commodities organisation on a large-scale greenfield ETRM reimplementation programme and are looking for a Technical Commodities Business Analyst to play a key role in the delivery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience with Openlink Endur within a complex enterprise trading environment, while also contributing to modernisation initiatives involving AI-driven analysis and solution design. The successful candidate will work across front-to-back trade lifecycle processes and partner closely with trading, operations and technology teams to help shape and deliver robust enterprise-wide solutions.
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst within commodities/trading technology environments
- Strong hands-on E/CTRM configuration experience
- Experience delivering enterprise-wide solutions using industry-standard methodologies
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to analyse complex problems from first principles
- Exposure to greenfield implementation programmes would be highly advantageous
- Understanding of modern solution and design principles
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery environments
Technical & Functional Experience:
- Capturing detailed business scope and functional/non-functional requirements
- Facilitating business workshops and stakeholder sessions
- Creation of process maps and testing scenarios
- Strong understanding of front, middle and back-office trade lifecycle events
- Preparing, scoping and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Proven experience with data mapping and interface specifications
- Experience defining both functional and non-functional integration requirements
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks would be beneficial
Nice to Have:
- Exposure to Artificial Intelligence solutions supporting business analysis, workflow optimisation or solution delivery
- Experience working on ETRM modernisation or transformation programmes
