Senior Gas & Power Software Engineer – Commodity Trading – London – £850/day inside IR35
Cititec has partnered with a leading commodities firm seeking a Senior Software Engineer with Gas & Power and E/CTRM experience to join their growing cross-functional technology team. This is a long-term opportunity that\’ll see you focus on enhancing and improving their Front and Middle Office technology.
You\’ll work with the technology team to evolve enterprise architecture, analyse & enhance systems and contribute to the delivery of the overall landscape. My client is about to undergo a complete greenfield ETRM implementation, too.
Experience required:
- Extensive experience in a commodities trading environment with hands-on ETRM experience
- Strong C# and SQL skills
- Recent experience with EU Gas & Power is essential
- Must be able to work with cross-functional teams
- Exposure to cloud platforms is a plus
- Ideally, you\’ll have experience with system configuration
- Prior experience working in the Front Office
