About our Traineeship Program:
We are looking for Trainees to join us in February 2026!
Our Trainee Protection & Control Testers carry out duties associated with the maintenance testing, operating and commissioning of Electrical Plant, Protection, Control, Metering and Communications equipment in Zone Substations.
While predominantly working in a zone substation environment,you still must be willing to work outdoors, at heights and in all weather conditions.
Our four-year program sees our Trainees:

If you want to be part of something essential, be essential with us earning an industry recognised qualification:Advanced Diploma – ESI Power Systems.
To be eligible to apply, you need to meet one of the following pre-requisites:
- Units 3 & 4 in Math Methods; or
- Units 3 & 4 in Physics
If you are currently completing a pre-requisite subject, you are eligible to apply, as long as it will be successfully completed by the end of the 2025 academic year.
