As a VP Product Manager at Citi Markets Technology, you shape next‑gen Generative AI products across asset classes. You will own strategy, roadmap, and adoption, partnering with engineering, risk, and business stakeholders to turn AI capabilities into durable, value-generating solutions. You’ll define the product vision, run structured discovery, and lead go‑to‑production releases with governance and measurable impact. Responsibilities
- Define the GenAI product vision and strategy for Markets across asset classes
- Prioritize features using structured frameworks balancing strategic bets and quick wins
- Own adoption metrics (onboarding, usage, retention, business value) and update the roadmap
- Run structured discovery with traders and desks; translate needs into a refined backlog
- Coordinate release planning and execution; manage adoption programs and onboarding
- Support GenAI governance (model access, documentation, user access) for production readiness
- Represent strategy to technology leadership and senior stakeholders; manage cross-functional communications
- Maintain high-quality product documentation (release notes, guides, incident records)
- Monitor risks and blockers; escalate and resolve to keep outcomes on track
- Collaborate with engineering during delivery and participate in agile ceremonies
Key requirements
- Product management or product ownership experience in a technology environment
- Proven ability to defend prioritization decisions to senior stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with focus on product metrics and adoption data
- Strong stakeholder management and communication across business, tech, risk, and senior mgmt
- Hands-on experience with Jira or similar agile tooling and agile delivery understanding
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into a structured product viewpoint
- User-focused mindset with emphasis on UX and adoption
- Curiosity about Generative AI, LLMs, and value creation in financial markets
