The Successful candidate is responsible for running execution and delivery across Fixed Income markets in EMEA. The role is a Technical Product Manager — a high-impact individual who operates with autonomy, defines a clear technical vision, and acts as a trusted partner to both the business and engineering teams. They will be expected to own their product domain, make sound architectural and delivery decisions, and engage directly with business leaders, architects, and senior stakeholders to drive technical product excellence and strategic impact.

The role will allow you to:
- Develop efficient and robust solutions to challenging business problems.
- Work on a globally distributed team to deliver the next generation e-Trading experience for traders at Citi.
- Gain knowledge and exposure to Front Office Trading Systems, Fixed Income, and Derivatives flows.
Key Responsibilities & Profile
- Technical Product Ownership — Define and articulate the technical product vision, strategy, and roadmap, translating business objectives into detailed technical requirements and user stories to guide development.
- Full Lifecycle Accountability — Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for application systems, from ideation and requirements gathering through development, testing, deployment, and post-launch optimization.
- Stakeholder Partnership & Influence — Partner with cross-functional teams including business, engineering, operations, and architecture to ensure seamless integration, identify system enhancements, and drive the deployment of new products.
- Innovation & High-Impact Problem Solving — Resolve complex, high-impact technical and business challenges by conducting in-depth evaluations, leveraging industry standards, and developing innovative solutions.
- Team Leadership & Mentorship — Act as a key advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts, fostering product growth, promoting best practices, and allocating work to maximize team effectiveness.
- Risk & Compliance Oversight — Proactively identify and manage technical and business risks, ensuring all product decisions safeguard the firm's clients and assets while adhering to all internal policies and external regulations.
- Capital Markets & Technical Depth — Bring 6-10 years of experience in a senior technology role, with deep expertise in system analysis, application programming, and specific knowledge of Fixed Income products and platforms (e.g., MKTX, Bloomberg, TWEB).
- Proven Delivery & Adaptability — Demonstrate a proven track record of managing and delivering complex technical projects, with the ability to adjust priorities quickly and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- Senior Communication & Influence — Exhibit strong leadership and strategic thinking, with clear and concise communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts effectively to diverse audiences, from engineering teams to senior business stakeholders.
Key Skills and Experience required
- Experience with Rust programming
- Experience developing large financial software trading systems with substantial hands-on development experience in building systems with an attention to optimizing and tuning performance, while also demonstrating critical thinking skills related to re-use, scalability, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ION Trading solutions
- Knowledge of major Rates Financial Products (e.g., EuroGovies/Swaps/GILTS/SAS etc.) and Broker/Customer Markets electronic trading flows.
- Experience of KDB
- Experience with modern software development practices such as Agile development, test-driven development, and continuous integration and continuous delivery.
- Worked in an Agile globally distributed team using tools such as Jira, Bitbucket, Sonar & Team City
- Worked with tools such as IntelliJ, Gradle, etc.
- Experience on JSON/XML and REST service
