Overview
In this IT Project Senior Manager role you will lead and deliver moderately complex technology projects, guiding cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget. Responsibilities
- Oversees technology components of moderately complex IT projects, including planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality and cost
- Directs staff to resolve issues and ensure project goals are met
- Communicates status and updates to end-users and stakeholders
- Contributes to budgeting, policy formulation, and planning within the area
- Evaluates subordinates’ performance and makes personnel decisions
- Ensures procedures follow standards and contributes to defining IT project leadership strategies
- Assess risks in business decisions and escalate issues with transparency
- Exercise accountability for resource planning and delivery of end results
Key requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in a related technology role with people management experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Masters may be preferred
- Strong communication, diplomacy, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage budgets and planning in a multi-stakeholder environment
