Overview
In this role you will lead the Trade and Working Capital Solutions Technology organization within Citi’s TTS, guiding digitization, growth, and transformation at scale. You will shape the technology strategy and architecture to support product and sales goals, while modernizing legacy systems and improving client experience. You will oversee delivery, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across a global team of engineers to reduce risk and accelerate delivery. You will work closely with clients, fintechs, and regulators to drive impactful, compliant technology programs. This is a high-visibility opportunity to influence the technology roadmap and create measurable business value.
Responsibilities
- Deliver the technology strategy and architecture aligned with TTS product and sales goals, with a focus on digitization
- Define target state architecture and modernize legacy systems using cutting-edge stack
- Ensure delivery, resource alignment with business needs, and robust governance/compliance
- Advance cross-product architecture and adopt CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile methods
- Lead operating model and multiyear roadmap to enable growth, scale, and de-risk the environment
- Enhance client experience and accelerate onboarding and issue resolution digitally
- Deliver on transformation and regulatory commitments and close regulatory actions
- Establish governance to monitor organizational health via corporate scorecard metrics
- Strengthen regulatory relationships through focused regulatory programs and timely issue closure
- Foster strong team effectiveness, talent development, and an inclusive, ethical culture
Key requirements
- Significant experience in technology leadership in Financial Services, preferably Transaction Banking
- Proven ability to develop and execute Target State Architecture and technology transformation programs
- Trusted leader with business-IT partnership experience and customer orientation
- Deep technical and business knowledge with track record in complex systems and architecture
- Ability to balance world-class technology with cost management and value delivery
- Awareness of external and internal best practices and a proactive, owner-minded attitude
- Strong decision-making, initiative, and delivery focus
- Experience in business partnership, client relationships, and senior management interaction
- Knowledge of financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting
