Overview
In this role you will drive revenue growth and platform innovation for Citi’s financing and clearing infrastructure, serving as a bridge between front-office, risk, and tech. You will shape a globally impactful platform used by institutional clients, leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable value. You will partner with trading desks, risk and technology teams to keep the platform competitive and compliant while enabling scalable client delivery.

Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize the multi-year platform roadmap for cash prime brokerage, synthetic equities, securities lending, and stock locate
- Lead large cross-functional programs delivering real-time margin analytics, automated collateral optimization, API connectivity, and digital client portals
- Coordinate with Legal, Compliance and Risk; act as primary escalation point for stakeholders
- Provide regulatory thought leadership on evolving rules (e.g., T+1, EMIR, SFTR) and adapt product strategy
- Oversee operations and tech partners to ensure accurate trade lifecycle, margin, settlement, and corporate actions processing
- Build strong client relationships and translate client needs into valuable product enhancements
Key requirements
- Experience in prime brokerage or securities financing within Tier-1 banks, prime brokers, or institutional fintech
- 8–10+ years of managerial experience leading high-performing teams
- Expertise in cash and synthetic prime brokerage, securities lending/borrowing, repo financing, margin models, and trade lifecycle workflows
- Ability to lead across matrix organizations with desks, risk, tech, and operations
- Strong technical/platform acumen including distributed systems, API design (REST, FIX), cloud architectures; SQL skills preferred
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with ability to influence senior leaders and clients
- Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred; CFA/FRM/CQF considered a plus
