Overview
In Citi Markets, you will support and optimize electronic equity trading strategies within the Global Cash Equities unit. You’ll monitor live algorithmic flows, adjust parameters, and resolve real-time issues, partnering with Quant Research and Technology to push feature improvements. The role sits at the crossroads of trading desks, risk controls, and governance, contributing to efficient, compliant, and scalable execution. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role in a leading bank’s global franchise.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and support algorithmic trading flows and risk controls across desks
- Deploy and configure client-specific algorithmic parameters to align execution with expected outcomes
- Diagnose and resolve real-time operational and execution issues for traders and clients
- Collaborate with Quantitative Research and Technology to deploy new algorithmic features
- Enhance platform efficiency and resilience with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with governance, risk, and regulatory requirements
- Stay aligned with market events and onboarding of new tradable securities
- Provide rapid decision-making during production outages to minimize risk
Key requirements
- Prior front office production support experience, preferably in electronic trading
- Deep knowledge of equity algorithmic trading, SOR, exchange order types, and auction mechanics
- Strong verbal and written communication for cross-functional collaboration
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in quantitative, finance, engineering, or technical discipline
