This role is responsible for design and implement a well-controlled data governance processes to enable businesses/function/regional adoption of data governance strategy and/or Data Risk and Controls framework. The role will articulate the enterprise data governance strategy, and progress towards target state, through various channels and forums, for a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators. Responsibilities: Liaise with functions, lines of business and regional Federated Chief Data Office to understand and align Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls strategy related workDevelop approach and prioritization framework to define and track the prioritized scope for the enterprise data programIntegrate and align functions, lines of business, and regional data roadmaps into an enterprise data roadmap to deliver on the prioritized scopeProvide advisory services to functions, lines of business and regions on prioritization and requirements as neededAnalyze and identify overlapping initiatives to resolve duplication of effort Partner with ECDO Function Heads to develop capability maturity frameworkDevelop materials to effectively and concisely articulate progress on the data governance strategy for senior leadership and regulatory updatesLiaise with metrics team to articulate clear requirements for objective measures necessary to support Data Governance storylines with key stakeholdersRecommended Qualifications:Extensive experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related areaBanking, Financial Services experience and Regulatory knowledge requiredStrong Data Governance, Data Sources, Data Insights knowledgeProject and Change Management experience (involving Data)Demonstrates consistent track record of having worked as a Program or Project Manager, or working on large, strategic cross-functional projectsDemonstrates leadership in operational managementExperience creating and executing against frameworks that improve the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments and enhance risk management.Experience leveraging glossary, lineage, and data quality tools to drive governanceClearly demonstrates impactful communication, influencing and facilitation skills (oral, written and presentation)Demonstrates ability to balance between seeing the big picture while paying close attention to detailGeneral understanding of relevant banking regulations and supervisory expectations for large financial institutions strongly preferredWorking knowledge of Data Operating Model practices, Data Governance and Data Compliance within large, financial services firmsEducation:Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredWhat we can offer youWe work hard to have a positive financial and social impact on the communities we serve. Then apply to discover the true extent of your capabilities.#LI-KK5This role will act as the conduit between the Finance Data organization and the International Business, supporting data consumers to identify new requirements, analyze potential data quality issues, develop solutions and support remediation through to implementation and validation.Role will support the International business in all aspects of achieving Citi Data Governance Policy (CDGP) compliance for data governed by Finance Data Domains.Ability to query data using SQL, analyze with tools such as Excel and Python, and present key messages to senior management is critical to be successful in this role.
